Dae's

Sometimes you start something and you have no clue where it is going to lead. I still do not have a clue where this is going to lead. I am still trying to figure out what I can get out of or contribute to this whole lj-stuff. It does take a while before you get a feel for a site, doesnt it? I am still trying to find my way around.

I do feel hopelessly untalented when I see some of the other blogs and communities. It may just be enough for me to just wander around and look at stuff instead of actually contributing. I dont yet feel I can make a difference here. Then again, that has never stopped me before.

Right now, I will probably just try my hand at IRC-scripting. My boyfriend is quite skilled at programming games in IRC script and he has so much fun doing that, that I feel like learning how to do the same. It will take me some time to 'get it', but I have a first-class teacher.

Ah well... time to go, I suppose.

Why?

Because I am fed up with the internet. Isn't that a good reason to start at LJ? Forget the fact I have my own domain. Forget that there are more communities out there. I am fed up with the internet and therefore I livejournal (v.).

At least customizing will keep my mind of the hatred I feel for this medium. I will be able to forget the pain it cuased me that past weekend. I will revell in my ability to make this look the way I want to.

And as for the rest? My boyfriend is playing Gun. He's happy.
